Fennecus zerda

Fennec
(Zool.) A small, African, foxlike animal of a pale fawn color, remarkable for the large size of its ears (and eyes). Their hearing is exceptional. They live nocturnal, from sundown to sunrise. During day they rest in burrow. When attacked they are very courageous; parents defend their young furiously.
